What ‘truly independent’ Financial Advice means to us
No niggling feelings
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have strict rules that firms need to adhere to in order to have an ‘independent’ status. This means that we only work for the client and consider all possible options available in the market. The alternative to this is ‘restricted firms; which will only consider the products that they are restricted to. Unlike many of our competitors we choose not to work under an ‘umberella firm’ rather we are directly authorised by and purely accountable to the FCA. This means that we are not influenced by other interested parties. We only work for the client, not providers so clients are assured that we are unbiased in our recommendations.
Despite the additional compliance and strict regulations, Complete Financial Planning feel it is important to retain their independent status in order to ensure you have the best financial advice considering the whole market. You are left with no niggling feeling that there may be a more suitable product elsewhere.
